About Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is the science of all human behavior. Our goal in ABA is to create positive lasting and meaningful change in our client’s lives.

What Is ABA

Applied behavior analysis (ABA) is a scientific discipline concerned with applying techniques based upon the principles of learning to change behavior of social significance.It is the applied form of behavior analysis; the other two forms are radical behaviorism (or the philosophy of the science) and the experimental analysis of behavior (or basic experimental research).

Our goals follow the following guidelines:
Applied

The commitment to affecting improvement in behaviors that enhance and improve people’s lives.

Behavioral

3 parts:

A. The target behavior must be in need of change.
B. The target behavior must be objective and measurable.
C. All those involved in behavior changes coordinate as a team.

Analytic

Demonstrates functional relationships of behavior changes.

RABA Services

RABA is able to provide full certified ABA services.
We provide both Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs).

Our BCBAs provide experienced Assessment, Treatment Planning, Case Supervision, and Intensive Teaching coming from the science of Applied Behavior Analysis.

Our RBTs have years of experience in their respective fields of psychology, sociology, autism treatment, ABA, etc.

They provide the daily instruction to our students under the direction of the BCBA.

RABA comes fully equipped

with the resources, education/treatment equipment, and qualified staff to provide cutting edge ABA treatment.

This is the recommended treatment for behavioral and developmental issues such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADD/ADHD, Down Syndrome, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, as well as many others.

We offer consultation and treatment options for a host of other learning and behavioral issues as well.

Our assessments, expertise, and evidenced based approach allow us to address such wide ranging issues as fine and gross motor issues, social and play skills, speech and communication skills.
